On March 2nd, 2011 Angie's cousin, James Lee Gruhlkey, tragically took his own life at the young age of 24, ending a long battle with bipolar disorder. On what would have been his wedding day family and friends came together in support of The Jimmy Lee Project. This project was created so that loved ones can honor him, raise awareness about diagnosis and treatment of mental health diseases, and also to raise money to support local non-profit mental health organizations.
